Comfort and Joy Holiday Card Drive. In-Person
We invite you to create handmade holiday cards that will be delivered to veterans and chronically ill adults across the state. Your cards won’t just say “happy holidays” - they’ll say you matter, you’re remembered, and you’re not alone.
Come into the library and visit one of our card making stations to create a card. Homemade cards can also be dropped off at our library during this time. Stations will be set up in:
- The Children's Program Room
- Adult Main Area
- Young Adult Booth
Please be sure to follow the card making guidelines:
1. Please take photos of your card-making event and email them to us at deb.bibbins@forallages.org.
2. Please focus on the year end holidays.
3. Make each handmade card unique and let your creative spirits fly!
4. Keep your notes/cards cheerful and joyful.
5. Envelopes are not required but if you include envelopes, please do not seal them.
6. Do not include last name/identifiable personal information in your card (first name only!).
7. Do not include religious or predictive sayings inside the cards (for example, “I’m praying for you; get well soon; keep getting stronger).
8. Avoid using supplies that can create health concerns (for example, glitter).
9. Do not include food/candy in your card as these will be discarded.
