Nature's Wonders Photography Exhibition In-Person
On display May 1st - May 31st during library business hours.
Come see the work of Tyler Marques at the East Granby Public Library Children’s Room! He’s been taking pictures throughout 2024 and is excited to share them in his first exhibition!
About the Photographer:
Born and raised in East Granby, CT, Tyler Marques became interested in photography at the end of his junior year of high school after taking a photography class. After learning the basics, Tyler explored his interest further by contacting professional photographer Melanie O’Connor to learn more about the professional world of photography. After shadowing her at two weddings, Tyler had the skill set to take great photos independently. The photos displayed in the exhibit are a collection from Tyler’s time in Portugal in the spring of 2024, his time in Rocky Mountain National Park in December of 2024, and various hikes he’s taken with his camera at Cowles Park in East Granby and McLean Game Refuge in Granby. Along with photography, Tyler is also interested in camping, hiking, and spending time with his closest friends. He’s excited to be able to display his work for the first time and he hopes that you’ll enjoy the exhibit.
