Chess Club In-Person
Chess Club. March 5th- April 30th. No class April 16th.
5:30pm - 6:30pm.
Grades 1-8.
Fee: $25 per child/teen*.
Join chess champanion and President of the CT Chess Association, Alex Lumelsky, for this 8-class chess club session. Class will include talking about the rules, opening play, closing a winning position, and tactics. Both past club members and new players are welcome.
Visit the library in advance to pay cash or a check made out to East Granby Public Library or Venmo @EastGranbyPublicLibrary.
*Caregivers are welcome to participate alongside their child(ren) at no additional cost. Caregivers attendance is optional. If the caregiver is not joining the class, we ask you to remain on the library's premises during the duration of the class.
